Alias AI ("we", "our", or "the app") is a multiplayer party word game. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the game:

• Team name — entered voluntarily by the user when joining a game. This is temporary and exists only for the duration of the game session.
• Game session data — game codes, scores, and round information stored temporarily in Firebase Firestore to enable multiplayer functionality.

We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or personal identification
• Location data
• Phone contacts or media
• Payment information
• Device identifiers beyond what Firebase requires

3. How We Use Data

Game session data is used solely to enable real-time multiplayer gameplay between devices. All session data is automatically deleted or becomes inaccessible after the game ends.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase / Firestore — for real-time game state synchronization. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic Claude API — for AI word generation based on the topic entered by the judge. The topic text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate word lists. No personal data is included in these requests. See Anthropic Privacy Policy.

5. Children's Privacy

Alias AI is intended for general audiences aged 4 and older as a family party game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require registration or account creation.

6. Data Retention

Game session data in Firebase is temporary. We do not permanently store any user-identifiable information.

7. Security

We use Firebase's built-in security features to protect game session data. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data tied to identifiable users, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns, contact us at the email below.
